We started working together in 2016 on a creative team in Michigan. Together, we tackled thousands of projects and found success and efficiency through our partnership. We often worked within incredibly tight time frames, and figured out how to make it work every time. After years of learning from the myriad of design problems that needed a creative solution, we figured we could give it a go on our own—Risen Design was born.

Over the years, we’ve refined our processes to be as efficient and effective as possible, ensuring satisfying results every time. We started out as a creative team for a large multi-site church.
On that team, we experienced the same challenges you experience on a daily basis:

Do you offer single-project services?
Absolutely. We’ve developed brands, built websites, and put together series or marketing campaigns for clients in a single-project environment. Often, this is where our most lasting partnerships start.
What are the benefits of an ongoing contract?
An ongoing contract environment fosters a partnership with you that allows us to take your brand and messaging to the next level. This allows us to take on any project you may have, large or small, and ensure all touchpoints with your brand are consistent and effective. Not to mention the fact that we get to know you better, even down to your Starbucks order. 😉
How do you handle deadlines?
Deadlines are critical to a project’s success. All of your deadlines will be listed in our project database (we use Basecamp) and clearly visible and accessible to you at all times. If a project’s priority changes on your end, let us know, and we will adjust right along with you.
Will I have a point of contact?
Yes, every project we take on has a Project Manager assigned to it. In an ongoing partnership environment, a Project Manager is assigned to the partnership itself. In a single-project situation, a Project Manager is assigned to the project. This is another reason ongoing partnerships are so beneficial.
How are projects managed?
We use Basecamp for all of our communications with you. You’ll have 24-hour access to our Kanban-style project board that clearly lays out all of the projects we’re currently working on, as well as a chat feature to get in touch with us anytime. As we make progress on each part of the project, your Project Manager will notify you and invite you to review each element. Once we’re on the same page with your feedback, we move on to the next step until the project is completed and everything is delivered to you on Basecamp… by or before the deadline.
